EDermaStamp - Microneedling
Microneedling with eDermaStamp® at Adora Spa in Sarnia is a medical-grade treatment designed to stimulate the skin’s natural regeneration process. By creating precise micro-channels in the skin, it activates collagen and elastin production to improve texture, tone, and overall skin quality.
This advanced approach allows us to address multiple skin concerns while maintaining optimal comfort and safety
What is eDermaStamp® Microneedling?
eDermaStamp® is an advanced form of microneedling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT). The treatment uses surgical-grade micro-needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin, which stimulate the body’s natural healing response and trigger the production of new collagen and elastin.
As the skin heals, it becomes firmer, smoother and more even in tone, helping to reduce the appearance of scars, wrinkles and other common skin concerns.
Unlike more aggressive treatments, eDermaStamp® is non-ablative, meaning it stimulates regeneration while preserving the integrity of the skin.

What you need to Know Before & After Treatment
To get the best results and minimize side effects:
- Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning for at least 1 week prior to treatment.
- Stop using retinol, glycolic acid, or other strong exfoliants 3–5 days before your session.
- Avoid blood-thinning medications or supplements (like aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil) unless approved by your doctor.
- Arrive with clean skin; remove makeup, lotions, or oils.
- Let your practitioner know if you have active acne, cold sores, skin infections, or any medical conditions.
Recovery is usually quick, but following these steps ensures optimal results:
- Expect mild redness, swelling, or warmth for 24–48 hours—similar to a mild sunburn.
- Avoid direct sun exposure, tanning, or harsh exfoliants for at least a week.
- Use gentle cleansers and moisturizers; avoid strong acids or retinoids until fully healed.
- Avoid hot showers, saunas, or heavy exercise for 24–48 hours to reduce irritation.
- Apply sunscreen daily; newly treated skin is more sensitive to UV damage.
Microneedling is safe for most people, but it is not recommended for:
- Active skin infections, cold sores, or open wounds
- Severe eczema, psoriasis, or dermatitis in the treatment area
- Individuals with keloid or hypertrophic scarring tendencies
- People using certain medications (like Accutane within the past 6 months)
- Pregnant or breastfeeding clients (consult your physician)
- Those with uncontrolled chronic health conditions or immune disorders

It may help improve the appearance of:
- Fine lines and wrinkles

- Hyperpigmentation
- Stretch marks
- Mild skin laxity
As new collagen forms, the skin gradually becomes smoother, firmer and more even in tone.
Yes. eDermaStamp® is a medical-grade microneedling device designed to deliver controlled and precise treatments.
The procedure creates microscopic channels in the skin to trigger the natural healing response without damaging surrounding tissue. When performed by a trained professional, it is considered a safe and effective treatment for improving overall skin quality.
Most clients find the treatment very tolerable. A topical numbing cream is typically applied before the procedure to ensure comfort throughout the session.
Clients usually describe the sensation as mild pressure or light vibration rather than pain.
After the treatment, the skin may appear slightly red or warm, similar to a mild sunburn. This usually subsides within 24 to 48 hours.
During the following days, the skin begins its natural regeneration process, gradually improving in texture, tone and firmness as new collagen develops.
The number of treatments depends on your skin concerns and desired results.
For general skin rejuvenation, many clients benefit from a series of treatments spaced several weeks apart. More advanced concerns such as acne scars may require additional sessions.
Your skincare professional will recommend a personalized treatment plan during your consultation.
Microneedling is suitable for many individuals looking to improve skin texture, tone and early signs of aging.
Because the treatment does not rely on heat or aggressive resurfacing, it can be performed on most skin types and tones.
A consultation is recommended to determine whether this treatment is appropriate for your specific skin concerns.
Some clients notice improvements in skin texture and radiance within the first few weeks.
However, collagen production continues over time, and the most noticeable improvements typically develop gradually as the skin renews itself.
